We’re always taught that when one door closes, another one opens. But what happens when the first door has NOT closed, and you find yourself looking towards these giant, ornate, very open, very inviting French doors? Then what? No one talks about THAT. Somehow having OPTIONS is seen as what? Greedy? Whiney? What? I don’t know. But let me tell you: Seeing both doors wide open and not knowing what’s on the other side of the bigger door, is very frustrating, very exciting and very stagnating.
Before, it was obvious. Well, you go through THIS door because it’s the open door. But now you have CHOISES and OPTIONS and that makes you go – wait… what? Why? Which one? What are my repercussions? Who else is affected by this? What if I go through the wrong one? Then what? What if I wished I’d stuck with door number one after I get to the end of door number two? Are all options then null and void?
